Studio Policies

At Shunyamudra Yoga & Wellness Center, our goal is to create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for every student. These policies are designed to ensure smooth class operations, fairness to all participants, and the highest quality learning experience.

1. Batch Enrollment & Membership Validity

Fees paid towards yoga classes, workshops, wellness programs, therapy sessions, or memberships are applicable only for the specific batch duration, package, or number of sessions selected at the time of enrollment.

Memberships and packages are non-transferable and are intended for use only by the registered student.

2. Attendance & Missed Classes

Students are encouraged to attend classes regularly to maintain consistency and receive maximum benefits from the program.

  • If a class is cancelled or missed from the studio’s side, the session will be adjusted, rescheduled, or compensated appropriately.
  • If a student misses a class due to personal reasons, travel, health conditions, work commitments, or any other circumstances, adjustment of missed sessions will depend entirely on instructor availability, batch capacity, operational feasibility, and studio discretion.
  • Repeated absence may not qualify for unlimited make-up classes.
  • Adjustment requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis considering the genuineness of the situation and overall scheduling practicality.
  • The studio reserves the right to limit or decline adjustment requests where necessary for operational balance.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Shunyamudra Yoga & Wellness Center, we strive to provide a seamless and transformative experience through our yoga training, wellness workshops, and health mentorship programs. We understand that plans can change, and we have established the following policy to govern cancellations and refunds.

3.1 Cancellation Guidelines

  • Regular Yoga Classes / Monthly Memberships: Requests for the cancellation of monthly subscriptions or class packages must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the start of the upcoming billing cycle or scheduled session.
  • Workshops & Special Events: Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 2 to 7 days of the event will be eligible for a 50% refund or a credit toward a future event. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable.
  • Mentorship / Teacher Training Programs: Due to the structured nature of these long-term programs, once a batch commences, registrations cannot be cancelled, and fees are non-refundable.

3.2 Refund Guidelines

  • Approved Refunds: Once a cancellation request is reviewed and approved by our team, the refund will be initiated immediately.
  • Mode of Refund: In compliance with our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, all refunds will be credited exclusively back to the original source mode of payment (the specific bank account, credit/debit card, or wallet used to make the initial transaction). We do not issue cash or alternate bank transfers for online payments.
  • Processing Time: Depending on the processing timelines of the acquiring and issuing banks, it typically takes 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) for the refunded amount to reflect in your bank statement or card balance.

3.3 Failed Transactions

In cases where a transaction fails but the user’s account is debited, the amount is automatically rolled back by the banking network and credited back to the source account within 5 to 7 working days.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Students requesting batch changes or session rescheduling must inform the studio in advance. Approval depends on seat availability, instructor schedules, and operational feasibility.

5. Trial Sessions

Trial classes, where applicable, are limited and subject to prior booking confirmation. Trial access may not be available for all programs or peak batches.

6. Health & Medical Responsibility

Students are requested to inform instructors about any existing medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, physical limitations, or ongoing treatments before participating in sessions.

Participation in yoga and wellness programs is voluntary, and students are advised to practice within their personal comfort and medical limits.

7. Pregnancy & Therapeutic Programs

Prenatal, postnatal, and therapeutic yoga sessions should only be attended after consulting a qualified medical professional. Students may be requested to provide medical approval where necessary.

8. Studio Discipline & Respectful Environment

  • Students are requested to arrive on time for classes.
  • Please maintain silence and respect the peaceful studio environment.
  • Mobile phones should remain on silent mode during sessions.
  • Disruptive, disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior towards instructors, staff, or fellow students will not be tolerated.
  • The studio reserves the right to deny access or discontinue services in cases of misconduct.

9. Online Class Policy

For online sessions, students are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and suitable practice environment. Technical issues from the participant’s side may not qualify for compensation or additional sessions.

10. Corporate Wellness Programs

Corporate yoga and wellness sessions are customized based on organizational requirements. Scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling policies for corporate clients will be governed by mutually agreed program terms.

11. Media & Photography

Occasionally, photographs or videos may be captured during classes, workshops, or events for educational, promotional, or social media purposes. Students who prefer not to appear in such content may inform the studio in advance.

12. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment, Shunyamudra Yoga & Wellness Center and its instructors shall not be held responsible for injuries, health complications, accidents, loss of belongings, or damages arising from participation in any session or use of the studio premises.

13. Policy Modifications

Shunyamudra Yoga & Wellness Center reserves the right to update, modify, or revise studio policies, schedules, pricing, batches, instructors, or operational procedures whenever necessary without prior notice.
